Explore how to use drawings to understand and transform one’s world. We welcome creative kids into the world of medieval revivalist and architect Eugène-Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc. The tour includes three close-looking and drawing exercises, all inspired by Viollet-le-Duc’s detailed and imaginative drawings of castles, cathedrals, mountains, and monuments.
Caregivers and guardians are invited to observe, explore the galleries on their own, or join a tour for caregivers.
Bard Graduate Center is dedicated to new research in the decorative arts, design history, and material culture. Our exhibitions reflect the scholarly pursuits of BGC curators, faculty members, alumni, and students, and they serve as the basis for collaboration with colleagues at institutions elsewhere in the city and around the world. |
