Du Zhou studies textiles and dress in transcultural exchange between China and the West during the late nineteenth to the early twentieth centuries. Her research explores how fashion participates in shaping the world’s perception of China, Chinese people, and Chinese culture. Before joining BGC, she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Art History from Tsinghua University, China.
