Samantha Fleischman studies late medieval and early modern Jewish material culture with a particular interest in metalwork and the relationship between silversmiths and the Jewish communities for which they produce ceremonial objects. Samantha received a BA in Classical Civilization from Yale University and in the coming fall she will be continuing her studies in the PhD program at the Bard Graduate Center.
