He brings extensive experience at the intersection of finance and the arts, with a focus on strengthening organizational infrastructure, enhancing financial reporting, and aligning resources with programmatic vision. Previously, Sunil served in senior finance leadership roles at major cultural and nonprofit organizations, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, where he led treasury, budgeting, and investment functions. His career spans nonprofit management, investment banking, and advisory services, providing a broad perspective on governance, risk management, and strategic growth. Sunil holds a BS in Commerce & Engineering from Drexel Universityand an MBA from Boston University. He is deeply committed to the role of cultural institutions in public life and to building financial models that sustain creativity, scholarship, and access for future generations.
