Nicolas Cattelain is PhD candidate at the Bard Graduate Center. A graduate of Sciences Po in Paris, he worked in the finance sector in London for 15 years and became a dedicated collector of French decorative arts and contemporary conceptual art. Upon his return in Paris in 2017, Nicolas devoted himself to the restoration of the Château de Bagatelle and in 2023 published the history of the château, Bagatelle, A Princely Residence in Paris.
