Independent Study
Independent study offers students the
opportunity to pursue research in areas
beyond the range of the standard curriculum.
Through independent study, students further
their knowledge of subjects introduced in
their coursework or explore topics related to
their qualifying paper or doctoral dissertation.
Requirements are determined by the student
and faculty sponsor, with approval of the
Graduate Committee. 3 credits.
