Led by knowledgable graduate student and alumni educators, Bard Graduate Center Gallery offers a range of private tours for schools, colleges, seniors and general-interest groups that highlight objects, materials, and themes within our current exhibitions. Tours are tailored to suit each group and introduce visitors to object-based inquiry as a means of formulating broader questions about the material world and its complex cultural history.

NYCDOE school groups: Free
For all other groups the 2017–18 rates are:
$85 | for group of up to 15 participants
$160 | 16–30 participants
$210 | 31–45 participants

Tuesday through Friday between 11 am and 4 pm, and on Thursday evenings until 7 pm
Advance reservations are required
Tour Length: 45 minutes

Self-guided groups are welcome, please make reservations in advance to ensure availability and to discuss admission fees and arrangements.

Thursday Evening Tours
Join graduate student educators in the Gallery every first and third Thursday for a free, object-focused tour. Exploring a range of provocative themes and questions from week to week, educators facilitate intimate, thoughtful encounters with current exhibitions. Tour times: 6 pm, 6.45 pm, and 7.30 pm. No registration required.

Wheelchair Access
The gallery is accessible by an elevator that connects to all four public floors, and an ADA-compliant restroom and water fountain is located on the ground floor. A wheelchair lift is available to transport visitors from the street level to the lobby of the gallery. Visitors may borrow a wheelchair free of charge from our admissions desk upon arrival on a first come first serve basis, or reserve one by calling 212 501 3013.
