DESCRIPTION:Tapestry weaving is an ancient technique used by many cultures 
 to create fabrics for clothes and furnitures\, and wall hangings. In our t
 apestry weaving classes\, students will learn the basics of tapestry weavi
 ng\, how to plan and design a tapestry project\, and traditional and conte
 mporary tapestry techniques. In the Tapestry Weaving workshop\, you'll lea
 rn how to set up your loom and how to weave\, while experimenting with col
 or\, pattern and texture. Take your loom home and continue to create after

 ng\, and dyeing are practical\, connective\, and process-driven -- common 
 denominators for designers\, artists\, and creative practitioners around t
 he world. Because these activities are so widely used\, they help to foste
 r community and bring creativity back into our daily lives. They are part 
 of our collective history and vital to our ongoing expressions of design\,
