DESCRIPTION:On October 23 from 4 to 6 pm\, meet fellow educators for an aft
 ernoon of tours and refreshments around our fall exhibition John Lockwood 
 Kipling: Arts & Crafts in the Punjab and London. The evening of teaching a
 nd object-based learning will begin with a gallery tour\, followed by a ha
 nds-on Haptic Learning Through Touch workshop. Educators will gain tools o
 n how to critically engage a diverse range of audiences through facilitati
 ng thoughtful\, object-based discussions that can lead to powerful learnin
 g experiences. Network with fellow teachers\, enjoy refreshments\, and rec
 eive priority scheduling for future group tours. Educators of all discipli

 h Workshop led by Carla Repice Carla Repice is a multidisciplinary artist 
 and educator. She received her MFA in performance art from The School of t
 he Art Institute of Chicago and founded and was the Artistic Director of T
 he Bronx Art Collective\, a social justice and visual arts program for hig
 h school youth at the DreamYard Art Center in the South Bronx\, and is an 
 adjunct lecturer at City College of New York. Repice is currently the Mana
 ger of Education and Engagement at Bard Graduate Center.
