 ONS\n\nSwedish Wooden Toys is the first in-depth study of the history of w
 ooden\nplaythings in Sweden from the seventeenth to the twenty-first centu
 ries.\nFeaturing remarkable doll houses\, puzzles and games\, pull toys\, 
 trains\, planes\,\nautomobiles\, and more\, this exhibition explores Swede
 n’s long and enduring\ntradition of designing and making wooden toys and e
 xamines the cultural embrace\nof the wooden toy as a sign of timelessness 
 and quality. \n\nRevisions—Zen for Film\, through a singular presentation 
 of one of the most\nevocative films created by the Korean-American artist 
 Nam June Paik\n(1932-2006)\, explores the questions: How do works of art e
 ndure over time in\nthe face of aging materials and changing interpretatio
 ns of their meaning? How\ndo decay\, technological obsolescence\, and the 
 blending of old and new media\naffect what an artwork is and can become? A
 nd how can changeable artworks\nencourage us to rethink our assumptions of
  art as fixed and static?
