 dence\, a series of specially-commissioned performances by celebrated UK-b
 ased performance duo Pearson|Shanks\, will be in residence at Bard Graduat
 e Center from December 5 through 9\, 2016.In Staging Evidence\, Pearson|Sh
 anks will mount a performative challenge to the exhibition Charles Percier
 : Architecture and Design in an Age of Revolutions. Using an irreverent bl
 end of autobiography\, history\, and spectacle Pearson|Shanks will take au
 diences on an intimate journey that explores the innate tensions of repres
 entation in order to transform the boundary between past and present. Thro
 ugh the run of their residency\, acclaimed theater director Mike Pearson (
 Royal Shakespeare Company\, National Theatre of Wales) and Stamford archae
 ologist Michael Shanks will intersperse performances with panel discussion
 s that further explore the ways in which exhibitions stage evidence and re
