 r & Prestige: Metal Arts in Africa exhibition with a Bard Graduate Center 
 gallery educator. These tours are not comprehensive studies of the exhibit
 ion\; rather they offer an opportunity to experience various ways of study
 ing objects alongside BGC students and scholars. Tours last 40 minutes and
  focus on a curated selection of objects. You are invited to stay and expl
 ore the rest of the exhibition at your own pace after the tour ends.Bard G
 raduate Center is dedicated to new research in the decorative arts\, desig
 n history\, and material culture. Our exhibitions reflect the scholarly pu
 rsuits of BGC curators\, faculty members\, alumni\, and students\, and the
 y serve as the basis for collaboration with colleagues at institutions els
 ewhere in the city and around the world.In this spirit of collaboration an
 d inquiry\, we encourage discussion of the exhibition among individual vis
