 omposer Connor Chee\, featuring piano pieces written about elements of Nav
 ajo life\, land\, and culture\, including weaving. It will be followed by 
 a conversation with Shaped by the Loom exhibition curator Hadley Jensen.Di
 né (Navajo) pianist and composer Connor Chee is known for combining his cl
 assical piano training with his Native American heritage. Chee made his Ca
 rnegie Hall debut at the age of 12 after winning a gold medal in the World
  Piano Competition. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music and the Univ
 ersity of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music\, Chee’s compositions
  are inspired by traditional Navajo chants and elements of Diné culture.Cr
