The Department of Research Collections invites faculty, fellows, and students to dive into archival research. We will discuss researching and locating archival repositories, the types of materials found in archives, understanding finding aids, how to contact archives to access collections, and how to cite archival material. In addition, we will look at examples from BGC’s own archives, as well as other institutions in New York City and beyond. Led by Anna Helgeson, Associate Director of the Library and Mike Satalof, Archivist and Digital Preservation Specialist.
