Library Collections
The Bard Graduate Center Library is a non-circulating research collection supporting advanced studies in the decorative arts, design history, and material culture. The Library's collection comprises approximately 50,000 volumes, including monographs, bound periodicals, rare books, microforms, and videos. The Library subscribes to more than 250 periodicals and provides access to numerous subscription databases, periodical indexes, image resources, and other online research tools.

Library Mission
Our mission is to support BGC students, faculty, and staff in their academic endeavors and research needs. We provide reference assistance through workshops and personal appointments and we assist patrons in using the rich resources available in the New York City area.
