BGC Open Houses
We think that one of the most useful ways to get a sense of the work that goes on at the BGC is for you to attend one of our open houses in the fall. Hosted by the Dean and Chair of our school, Professor Peter N. Miller, and by the Dean for Academic Administration and Student Affairs, Elena Pinto Simon, a BGC Open House presents inquirers with the opportunity to hear about work of the BGC, to listen to faculty talk about their methodological approaches, and to have general questions answered about admissions and financial aid. Included in each event is a presentation about the new facility, which opened in fall 2009.
Our next open houses will be held on three separate dates in the fall. Click on the dates below to register. All open houses are from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
In addition to Open Houses at the BGC, Dean Simon regularly attends a number of Graduate School Fairs all over the country. If you cannot come to the BGC directly, and would like to know which fairs may be in your area, please contact her directly for more information, simon@bgc.bard.edu
