Description

Join us for a day dedicated to one of the largest and most intelligent animals in the world. Learn about the lives of elephants from a zoo expert, and experience a new shadow puppet performance about a circus elephant who finds work in New York City. Create your own circus shadow puppet. This program is ideal for children ages 6 through 12 and their adult companions.

$15 per family (includes Gallery admission and healthy snacks) 

11:15am–12:00pm: Family Tour of Circus and the City
12:00pm–12:30pm: Shadow Puppet performance by Caroline Borderies
12:30pm–1:00pm: Elephant Chat with animal expert and author Elizabeth Hanson
1:00pm–2:30pm: Shadow puppet art activity
2:00pm–2:30 pm: Family Tour of Circus and the City
3:00pm–3:30 pm: Shadow Puppet performance by Caroline Borderies
