This study day explores how vintage images of hats (in Vogue and other publications) have influenced archivist and milliner Gretchen Fenston, who will discuss a variety of her hats-in-progress. After lunch at the BGC, milliner Rodney Keenan will discuss his work and demonstrate the process of blocking hats.
Gretchen Fenston is a milliner and registrar of the Conde Nast archives.
Rodney Keenan is a milliner specializing in men's hats; his clients include Alicia Keys, Brad Pitt, and Samuel L. Jackson.
