Step Right Up! BGC Scholarship Fund Benefit

The Step Right Up! BGC Scholarship Fund Benefit was held on September 19th to celebrate the opening of Circus and the City: New York, 1793-2010. Guests attended in circus-inspired attire and enjoyed a sneak preview of the exhibition. The evening was made extra special with thrilling performances by Lady Circus, the fanciful food creations of Peter Callahan Catering, and delicious libations by Harlem Brewing Company. A few lucky attendees won the chance to be “Circus Celebrities” after winning raffle prize packages generously donated to the event by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. All proceeds from the Benefit raised that evening support our scholarship fund and give BGC students the financial help they need to pursue graduate degrees in the study of material culture.
