2014 Spring Exhibition Openings

On Thursday, April 10, 2014 the Bard Graduate Center hosted the opening reception for Waterweavers: The River in Contemporary Colombian Visual and Material Culture and Carrying Coca: 1,500 Years of Andean Chuspas. Over 400 guests visited the BGC gallery to enjoy the exhibitions and mingled over drinks and hor d'oeuvres at the reception. Waterweavers will be on view until August 10th and Carrying Coca will run until August 4th. The Curator of Waterweavers, José Roca, is pictured below (second from right) with (from left) artists Clemencia Echeverri, Jorge Lizarazo, Adriana Hurtado, Monica Hoyos, and Ceci Arango.
