New Research

Additional Research

In Spring 2011, while the exhibition was on view, students in Aaron Glass’s seminar “Native Arts of the Northwest Coast” conducted research on an additional set of objects from the American Museum of Natural History that were not included in the exhibit. Their research is presented below.

NOTE: These objects are not included in the interactive tag cloud or interview footage on this webpage. Mention of “cat. #s” in the texts refers to the catalogue numbers from the exhibition; the new objects are given Roman numeral catalogue numbers to distinguish them.
