Join graduate student educators in the Gallery every first and third Thursday for a free, object-focused tour. Exploring a range of provocative themes and questions from week to week, educators facilitate intimate, thoughtful encounters with current exhibitions. Tour times: 6 pm, 6:45 pm, and 7:30 pm.

Featuring tabla and percussionist Ethan Fox of the Chhandayan Center for Indian Music.

Ethan
Fox is a New York City based musician and educator. He is an active performer of Indian Classical music and a faculty member of the Chhandayan Center for Indian Studies in Manhattan. He regularly performs with ensembles of various musical styles including Central Asian, Jazz, Western Classical, Afro Cuban and Ghanaian musics. He is actively involved in music educational efforts around New York City. He is a music teacher for the NYC public schools and runs his own private studio. He is currently studying tabla in the Guru-Shishya parampara with Pandit Samir Chatterjee. He received his master’s degree in percussion performance from Northern Illinois University and his bachelor’s degree in percussion performance from SUNY Fredonia.
