Georg Josef Dietz will be featured in the Videoconference Series: Technical Art History on Monday, January 12, 2015, from 12 to 2pm, at the Bard Graduate Center in New York City. His talk is entitled “Technical Art History and its Relation to the Conservation of Art on Paper.”

The BGC’s Videoconference Series: Technical Art History is part of a new initiative, under the auspices of Cultures of Conservation, to connect our educational experience with partner institutions around the globe. The series is presented in conjunction with the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (MPIWG), the Freie Universität Berlin, and the University of Glasgow. The talks will take place at the MPIWG in Berlin; however, the audience at the BGC in New York will be able to watch the lectures and join the discussion live by means of a two-way video feed.
