Miwako Tezuka and Inhee Iris Moon examine the development and career of the artist Nam June Paik. Born in Seoul, and raised in South Korea, Paik was first trained as a classical pianist before studying in Hong Kong and Japan, and then living in Germany and the United States. Tezuka and Moon help place the exhibition Revisions—Zen for Film in the context of Paik’s life and international environment.

Inhee Iris Moon is the director and curator of Free Art Zone International, Inc.

Miwako Tezuka is Co-director of PoNJA-GenKon. She was formerly Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at New York’s Asia Society Museum and Gallery Director of Japan Society.
