A limited number of fellowships and grants are awarded to incoming and returning students by the Graduate Admissions Committee based on merit. Only those who apply for fellowship or grant funds are considered. Fellowships and grants normally range from $1,000 to $10,000 per year and may be awarded in combination with need-based scholarships, campus employment, and federal loans. Fellowships and grants are not automatically renewed. All students must reapply in order to be considered for a fellowship or grant in the second year. Second-year fellowships and grants are awarded based on academic performance in the first year of the program.
