Visiting the BGC
The Bard Graduate Center occupies a six-story town house at 18 West 86th Street (BGC Gallery) and a second town house at 38 West 86th Street (Academic Programs).

Exhibition Tours

Guided exhibition are offered by experienced educators for adults, college and university classes, school groups, and senior center groups. Tours last approximately one hour. Groups may be scheduled Tuesday through Friday between 11 am and 4 pm, and on Thursday evenings until 7 pm. Advance reservations are required.
Tour Fees
Adult, college, and university groups: $85 for 1-25 visitors (one guide); $150 for 26-40 visitors (two guides).
School Groups: free for New York City public school groups.
Other school groups: $75 for 1-25 visitors (one guide); $125 for 26-40 visitors (two guides). We can accommodate up to 40 students per visit. An adult chaperone must accompany every 10 students.
Self-Guided Groups: self-guided groups are welcome, but must make reservations in advance to ensure availability of the Gallery. Please contact us to discuss admission fees and arrangements.

M86 cross-town, M10 on Central Park West, M7 or M11 on Columbus Avenue
By subway:
B or C train to 86th Street and Central Park West; walk 1/2 block west.
1 train to 86th Street and Broadway; walk 2.5 blocks east.
By car:
On-street parking in the area is extremely limited. Several garages in the area charge hourly rates, including ones located at 87th & Columbus, 84th and Amsterdam, and 83rd between Columbus & Amsterdam.
