2014 Year End Appeal

Support the BGC's Scholarship Fund

Since opening our doors on West 86th Street in 1993, the Bard Graduate Center has assumed its place as a leading institution for the study of the decorative arts, design history, and material culture. While the BGC has evolved and grown in extraordinary ways, one thing has remained unchanged: our commitment to our students. Scholarship support is central to that commitment, which is why it has been and continues to be the primary focus of our fundraising efforts.

BGC students are intellectually adventurous, professionally ambitious, and ready to challenge and be challenged. Our alumni excel, whether in the academy, in museums, in the private sector, or in entrepreneurial endeavors. Their success is due in no small part to the support of generous individuals who donate to the BGC Scholarship Fund each year. Thanks to these gifts, most of our students receive financial aid, giving them the freedom to concentrate more fully on their studies. As we look forward, BGC aims to provide further funding to our talented young scholars, and requests that you join us in partnership.
